The 10262 Aston Martin DB5 from the James Bond movies has just arrived. This magnificent set complements the series of Creator Expert Cars that have been released the last couple of years, like the 10252 Volkswagen Beetle and the 10242 MINI Cooper. Both these sets have been a tremendous source for alternative builds. Like the impressive 10242 F1 Racer for example, made by the BriXtar artist Nkubate – Nathanaël Kuipers, with instructions available on BriXtar. Nathanaël has previous experience as a set designer for the LEGO® Group. Over the years he has made several high-end alternatives. We decided to let Nathanaël put his hands on the Aston Martin set and give him the challenge to come up with an interesting alternative.
Today is the release day of the new LEGO® Ideas Voltron Defender of the Universe set – 21311. This master build, based on the iconic character first shown on television in 1984, is finally available in LEGO®. Including 2321 bricks it is the biggest buildable mech ever released by the LEGO® Group. The set is created by the LEGO fan designer len_d69 and got 10 K votes on LEGO@ Ideas last year.
Make sure you update your BriXtar app today. It’s time for some new awesome features. 😀
